Went and heard RMS talk on Copyright and DRM at AukUni at lunch today. Super compressed summary is: the copyright laws which were good for society when there was only a few publishers with printing presses are past their usefulness and should be updated for today when anyone can and should be able to make a copy of a work for non-commercial sharing.
