Caught up with friends at Galbraiths for before heading over to the best pizza in Auckland at Monicas.

Italiano is my favourite topping. The Greek salad is also great. They used to have a “choose your own toppings”, but that seems to have gone now. Still they’re very friendly so you can always try asking if you want the Simon special: bacon, bacon, bacon, ham and bacon.

Had a house warming in my new lounge, aka the London Bar. Followed by an inspection of the apartment and then pizza at Pizza Pizza.

Came home to Vector playing with the lamppost outside my flat, still trying to work out what they’re up to.

Heavy rain – Maybe I should have got out on Thursday – Didn’t really matter it wasn’t cold and there were only a one big stream to cross. The Israeli guy before me did a huge leap from one side to a boulder in the middle. He just made it. He then grabbed a big rock to make an extra stepping stone. It dropped into the stream with a big splash, but was washed away by the current. I just forded the stream getting soaking wet boots, but I wasn’t going to risk slipping and falling in. Back in Queenstown I had dinner at The Cow: salad, pizza and beer.
